i REALLY appreciated and enjoyed the educated input from HLS and the
websites offered concerning Stant caps...and i am running into what i
consider a contamination prob in a 3.1 99 lumina (bought for son)...ive
flushed and refilled with new coolant until im blue! still after bout a
week there is the scum back at the filler neck....unrelated = repaced
intake gasks. 'bout new years (112k miles, normal for design)...scum line
before, scum line after.....ive been working on thousands of these engines
(2.8 to 3.4 / mid 80s to today) but we sell at 40kmiles so i dont get to
see most of the higher mile probs........i dont know that i will ever get
this cooling system to what i consider normal but i still appreciate the
overview by the folks here that have been experienced in the upper miles of
dex-cool................kjun
