1990 Honda Civic Tail lights

The tail lights on my 1990 Honda Civic do not work when engine is running
(brake and signal work). When the car is shut off, the tail lights  are
ok.

I had the same problem.

Pull your Day light drive light fuse.   If that works then at least know
where to start looking to repair it.
