As I was told the honda dealership that did my timing belt & 90k work
on my 1990 prelude 2.0 S made a $xma$ list of things they think I
should get done right now.  Here is what they said:

Front spring broken $455
distrbutor cap & Rotor worn $85
Front motor mount broken $161
CV Boots starting to crack $363
Radiator cooling fins coming apart $753
small oil leak from head gasket on back side of block, replace head
gaset $950

Of course they expected me to get all this work done the next day but
those prices are high.  After looking up the cost of a radiator on
www.performanceradiator.com going for $148 and labor qouted on groups
as $70 an hour or less for most jobs I'm thinking the indepepndent
route for the remaining work.  The car runs great despite the list
they gave (engine runs smooth and body has minimal noise) and I'm glad
to have the dealer done timing belt/water pump/90k work but I want to
get all the reamining work done for under $1200 if possible.  Is this
possible?  Any qoutes from people who have had similar work done with
indy mechanics?
