Well, we got the CR-Vs very first oil change today at the dealer and it
did NOT burst into flames on the way home.

Relieved!!

I changed the oil myself TWICE and it didn't blow up either. And it's a
2003. I made sure the oil filter was properly lubricated and cleaned left
over gunk from the engine block, even though it was quite clean.

I usually change the oil myself as well but with all the he ha about the
fires, I figured it best to let dealer do the first one..
