I just bought a 2001 Accord EX V6 and thought I would purchase an
extra remote for the alarm/doors/trunk.  I was told that there are two
models of remote for the EX: one for the years '98 to '00, and another
for the years '01-'02.  That the earlier would not operate the trunk
release.  Is this correct, and how can you recognize the difference
between the two?
