I had a 1988 Prelude with 4WS. I loved the car, but wasn't keen on the
4WS. It felt unsafe in some conditions at speed; it tended to wander
on certain road surfaces - concrete in particular. Does anyone know if
they improved the 4WS characteristics on any of the later Preludes? I
ask, because I'm thinking of buying another one. Were there any other
handling improvements on post-1988 models?
If not, I think I'll try a 2WS model next time.
Thank you.

I recently replaced my '90 Prelude with a '91 Plelude with 4WS.
I love the 4WS...it is incredible on cornering and handles great. I get none
of the problems you had.
It is a real pleasure to drive...definetly the best handling car I've ever
had.
Thats the main reason I bought this awesome 'Lude ...plus it was fully
loaded with leather interior too..
