94 accord dx, automatic.

I have a dashboard indicator between the odometer that shows this:  P R
N D 1 2
When I shift my gear to D, the dashboard indicator would show that I
have shifted to D.  Tonight, however, when I shifted the gear to D, the
dashboard doesn't show it.  I think the bulb has burned out.  What's
strange is that all the other
bulbs seem to work, with exception of D.

I know of an auto electric shop down the street.  Is this an electrical
problem?  If so, I'll just head on over there.

maybe, or it could be a transmission range switch.

The bulb burned out. Mine did the same on my Vigor. I just took the one from
(1) and put it to (D). The dealer wanted something like 10-15$ for one. Been
two years now, works like a charm.

Remember, you're mostly driving @ D anyway, so the chances of that bulb
burning out are far greater than any other one. But the 1 or 2, they are
almost like brand new bulbs.

If you want to buy the bulbs, I would buy one for P R and D just in case so
you don't have to go in the dashboard to do the job again later on.
