A good friend of mine just informed me that her 5 month old 2005 civic is
making a noise to the front end. When she took it to the local dealership,
she was informed it was a brake issue.  She was told that this was a
problem associated with the Honda Civics for the past couple years, and it
is not covered under the warrantee. She was given a flyer stating this
information. I haven?t seen the paper they provider her and I haven?t test
drove her car to see what the potential problem is but I would like to know
if anyone has heard of or experienced a similar problem. We?re going to
drive her car down to the dealership where she made the purchase to see if
they can bring light to this issue. The information is vague and I don?t
have first hand knowledge of this, but it just seems weird that a brand
new vehicle would not be covered bumper to bumper for any problems that
suddenly emerge. I hope that someone can confirm or deny any such
