I have a 93 honda civic and I want to check whether the water pump is
working fine or not. Is there any way to do it without taking it to a
mechanic shop?

Thank

If it's bad, it will either be leaking on your driveway, or will be making
a screeching noise. A decent mechanic will be able to tell just by
listening to the engine run.
