Hi,

A friend of mine just bought a new CRV from a Honda Dealer and about
two weeks later started noticing some drag in the car on hills and
such. She took it back to the dealer who proceded to tell her there was
nothing wrong. She continued to experience this drag and finally took
it to her own mechanic who told her the transmission is shot. She then
went back to the Honda dealer again who told her there is nothing wrong
with the transmission. At this point what can she do? The way she
described it, it sounds like they are initimidating her. Should she
contact a lawyer? Go to a second Honda Dealer?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Without a description of what is meant by 'drag', it's hard to guess,
but be aware the '05 CR-V has RTAWD, traction control and / or Grade
Logic, which will make the CR-V behave different than a regular
Front-Wheel drive car. . .  Has she read and understood her Owner's
manual thoroughly?
