I own a 1999 Honda Accord EX (4 cyld.).
I am trying to learn as much as possible about how my engine works since
most of my mechanical experience has been with old GM cars that did NOT
have VTEC type systems or balancer shafts. The two repair manuals that I
own have poorly done diagrams and pictures taken at only one angle. Are
there any websites that have various pictures of Honda car engines. I
already know about Tegger's excellent site and have learned lots of
valuable information from his site. If you know of any sites--please post.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

If you really want to know about your car, get the factory service manual
from www.helminc.com.  Everybody around here will agree that it is THE bible
for whatever Honda you may have.  I read mine for leisure!

Hello,
I visited hondahookup.com and was able to connect with the site. However,
when I clicked on manual--a message appeared saying that there was no such
site or location (I don't remember the exact words).
It's my guess that the webmaster has not yet added the manuals. I'll
recheck the site in a couple of weeks to see if they have added the
manuals. I should note that Tegger has some manuals at his site
<tegger.com> but he does not have the manual for my 1999 Accord.
Regardless, I thank you for trying to help me. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the post. Did you also try
www.hondahookup.com

In some cases, when you visit a website that has words written after .com
or .org or .gov
that's it's possible to revisit the site and delete the words after .com
or .org or .gov

for example in this case
hondahookup.com/manuals
would become
hondahookup.com
It works in some cases but does not work in ALL case such as when the
website is no longer in operation.
