It's not a fuse.  And you're not alone.

Find the thread here named "2003 Accord Radio Display Problem" started
on May 31 and mine named "2003 Accord EX-V6 stereo backlight is out"
which I started on May 25.

Mine just failed too - at 39,500 miles.

I've found quite a few others by Googling around.  The 2003 EX display
units seem to be reaching the magic age at which they fail.

There are two service bulletins that involve problems with the
display.  204 and 1203.

How does one find those bulletins?  I googled and googled and never got
close to those two numbers in conjunction with Honda and service
bulletins.

Go to the NTSA site here http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/  Click the vehicles
& equipment tab, then recalls/defects and keep drilling down until you
get to the technical bulletins on your car.  You won't get the
information in the bulletin, but you will get the title and what it is
about.  With that information, you should be able to ask to see them
at the Honda dealer.  Honda is very close to the belt with service
bulletins.  You won't find the full bulletins anywhere on the Internet
that I am aware of.

Reading about this failure I'm happy that my 2003 Accord EX sedan will
be 2 years old later this month and has just under 26,000 miles on it!
