I just noticed a humming or grinding noise when i drive, i have civic dx
manual tranny,127,000 miles, just had new boots and axles on,wheel bearing
and hub put on. so what could it be????i was thinking an alignment or
wheel balancing....

Might be water pump problem, when was timing belt, water pump replaced?
Does the noise change with engine rpm or with wheel speed?
rynniki - 04 Jul 2005 21:13 GMT
the timing belt was changed around 90,000 by the previous owner i dont know
about the water pump, there is no kind of fluids under the car except for
the a/c water..the noise gets louder the faster i go. it just started all
of a sudden
