hi 1991 civic dx, when hot (sometimes) stop to get gas; then no crank; all lights, gagues, radio; can hear a relay <click-click> behind the radio as I key into the starter position, but no starter action/noise at all. (loud clicks, being able to hear them from outside of the car) If so, most likely your starter is bad. the relay click is clearly somewhere in the dashboard area, doesn't sound like the heavy starter solenoid, my click sounds very close to the passanger area. |
