Hi, 99 Accord V6 3.0L To replaced the water pump how many o-rings/gaskets do I've to replace ? Are they come with the new pump ? How many tensioner & idler are there for the Timing Belt? One more thing on the Fan Belt Tensioner can I get&replace just the little bearing on the pully ? What's the part#? The hydraulic unit that pushes on the tensioner pulley is not part of the Gates Timing Kit. Don't know if it should be replaced. The waterpump should come with an o-ring. Do check when you pick it up. I always like to use the NAPA *NEW pumps*. No reman pumps for me. Yes, you can get the pulley only for the serpentine belt tensioner like about 40-50% the cost of the entire auto tensioner. Also change out the oil seals while you are at it. Check Gates' online catalog. |
