flashing light on dash "s"

Have automatic 90 honda accord - have a "s" button on the side of the
shifter you press if you want more speed.

the "s" light on the dash flashes about every 2 weeks until I turn the
motor off - then it is okay for about 2 weeks it will not stop flashing
until I turn the car off.

Any suggestions?
