I drive a 97 accord SE, the A/C works perfectly. the fan blows as well
but when i try to get some heat; it just doesnt work. the air is
blowing but the air is not getting heated. it worked fine till last
march, i havent used it since so i dont know at what point it broke....
checked the fuses related to the heating system yesterday and they all
seem to be fine.

also, when i turn the car left or right in a parking lot and i
accelerate there's this clicking... i cant tell from what side. someone
said that it could be my axle but both axles were replaced 6 months ago
and another mechanic suggested it could be the motor mount and that the
motor could be tapping against one side causing the click type sound.
the sound is only present when i'm pressing the accelerator its not as
loud or not even there when i turn with my foot off the accelerator...
help????!!!!

With engine cold, remove the rad cap and check to be sure it's full
right to the top. The reservoir should also be above the MIN line. Don't
put tap water in there. Get some Honda premix. If the rad was low, fill
it up, and fill the reservoir to the MAX, so the engine can use some of
it to displace the air it will expel when it warms up. Some of this
stuff is in your Owner's Manual. Check the levels the second and third
day too.

Secondary possibility: Does the heat knob seem to turn too freely?
There's been lots of people with that problem.

My 97 accord heat knob busted - sprayed some tri flow on the heater
control assembly to free it up - is under the dash on passenger side -
fairly easy fix if that's the problem.
