That's all? Oh!
Of course, everything here in Canada costs more than in the U.S., although
the WR's apparently cost significantly more than other tires. I've heard
of people here paying upwards $150 per tire compared to $100 for a decent
all-season or winter tire.

HI,
The Michelin X-Ice snow tires I got last year were $155ish Cdn each.
195/55/R15 (2000 Civic SiR(USA Si) I think I paid $1000Cdn ish for 4 tires
and steel rims last year. My wife got an excellent deal for her 05 Civic
Si. $800ish for X-Ice and steelies.

OK, I guess I should have mentioned that the approximate prices I gave
were for the 185/70-14 size (which my Accord uses), just to use an
example. Obviously, a different size will have a different price.

You get what you pay for.
You want a "decent" tire, one you can legitimately call a new tire, you
pay $100. You want a GOOD tire that does what you need it to do, you
pay a buck fifty.
So?
Are you one of those who know the price of everything and the value of
nothing?
