My "brake lamp" warning light was just on for three weeks, during which
time I just laughed and shook my head, thinking , "oh, THAT old thing
again." Well, suddenly now it's off and I have no workign brake lights.
>From searching old posts I'm concluding that I should try getting under
the dash and replacing my brake light switch.

Any special advice from anyone who's done it? Anything tricky involved?

Also, what fuse are the brake lights on? I figure it's worth checking
beforehand, but I can't find any info on this. Nothing on the
fuse-cover schedules.

I see its been two weeks so this is probably too late. But I just changed
the brake light switch on my Honda CRV and it was pretty simple just in a
tight spot. There was one nut to remove, then unplug the switch, then
unscrew the switch from a bracket and replace. However it did not fix my
no brake lights problem, so I am still scratching my head.
