Prelude early AT problems?

Hello:

I have a 98 Prelude that I maintained properly and never abused. The
automatic transmission is now sort of "bouncing" when shifting from 2nd
to 3rd. Sort of like a vibration, but only in that gear change under
any load.

Is that an early sign of AT failure? I am surprised and very
disappointed if that is the case. Car only has 65k miles!

Comments welcomed.

Search this NG for more ideas, but I'd say drain-n-fill the tranny fluid
twice. All the original break-in crud is still in there. Who wants that?

Use honda fluid or you'll just have to do it again later.
