I have a 93' accord. It has 185,000 mi. Recently it has gotten cold. The engine starts fine and revs when I hit the gas, but it doesn't move when in drive or reverse. At first it would take about five seconds and then go, but now it just revs and never moves. Check your atf level - when did you last change it? Should change atf every 30K - easy to do - the clutches in your tranny maybe already gone. Use only honda atf - don't go to one of the franchise tranny repair places - rip off artists who do evil things badly. |
