I have a 2005 civic with 8K miles since i do a lot of city driving i am
planning on using synthetic oil Mobil 1 on my next oil change.  Is
there anything i should be aware of when using synthetic.  Do i need to
do an engine flush etc etc

thanks

I started using synthetic in my 97 civic hx, and SpeeDee oil change
said I did not need to do anything special when starting to use
Synthetic. Please let me know if you hear otherwise, or I'll keep my
eye on this group.

nope. just put it in and go. id probably go with the max allowed oil
change interval, if youre going to be spending the $$$ on the fancy oil.

You can probably start using Synthetic since the car is very new--clean
engine I assumed.
Maybe you can last longer using Synthetic oil but the limit is always on the
life of filter, not the oil...
