that makes no sense.  if the trannie is leaking, your need trannie seals,
power steering is completely separate from the trannie.

thanks for the suggestion. its exactly the auto transmission fluid that
is leaking which is required for gearbox and power steering i guess. i
need to fill up transmission fluid every two weeks.......help.

Power steering fluid is a very different formulation from transmission
fluid, especially in Hondas that use their own non-standard PS fluid as
well.  There is NO sharing of the fluids.

If you're having to top up the transmission, then your transmission
probably has leaky seals, like TL said.

And BTW, if you're putting ATF in your power steering pump, you're gonna
hafta develop some really strong biceps to steer the car when the power
steering system fails.  Most Hondas require Honda-specific power
steering fluid.

ATF in place of steering fluid is a throwback to the old detroit iron
days. they might still use/recommend it. but it definately has no place
in a honda.

thanks all you guys. the leaking is just below the engine on the right
side, battery is on the left. it seems like transmission fluid is
leaking, its just on the right corner at the front bottle in which I
have refill the fluid once it the level goes down......

Umm, okay, there are several "bottles" in the front of your car:
radiator overflow, windshield washer fluid, brake fluid, power steering
fluid.  None of them contain transmission fluid; almost all auto
transmissions fill through their dipstick tube (NOT the oil disptick
though!)

You really need to track down exactly where the leak is and give a MUCH
clearer description if you want any kind of useful information.

if the power steering fluid is leaking, whatever it is that's leaking
needs replacing.  as stated by others, if you've been using atf in the
steering system, the seals will be shot and the system will need
replacement.  only use honda steering fluid in the steering system.
