I have a 2000 honda prelude and the drivers' side seat belt SAGS LIKE
CRAZY! Everywhere I've looked online they say to leave seat belt
repairs to the pros. After all...your messing with your safety! But I
took my sh.t apart anyway! Haha, I got it back together, but I had no
luck whatsoever in tightening the tensioner. does anyone have any
suggestions or am I doomed to take it to the dealer? Also does the
dealer usually cover any repairs on the seatbelts?

Check your warranty. My 91 Civic's warranty explicitly
states that seat belts have a lifetime warranty. Hopefully
you'll only be out some time at the dealer.
