speedometer/1993 honda civic ex

How do you check the spees sensor or the connection? Do you go under the
dash or right in front with the gauges? Thanks, Bill

Speed sensor is on the engine/transaxle usually. Google.com will find it
for you. If you include 'pdf' or 'jpg' in your search terms you might
get a nice picture.

Some possible clues:
www.autozone.com 's free online repair manuals say the speed
sensor is "incorporated into the speedometer" for the 93
Civic.  That's under "Chassis Electrical," then "Component
Locations." Then go to "instruments and switches," etc. On
the other hand, going to the transaxle section turns up the
"speedometer driven gear," mounted on the transaxle...
