Hey everyone!  I have a very used 1988 Honda Accord LX w/283k miles on
it.  The radiator is busted, it needs brakes, a battery and some TLC.
I need to remove it from my drive way.  My parents bought the car new
in 1987.  If someone will please come and get this car, I'll take
$500.00 for it.  Post any questions, if you're interested.  Thanks.

They bought an '88 in '87?

Will they take offers on their time machine?  :-)

Why are you so surprised?  It is very common to be able to get the next years
model car in the fall of the prior year.  Sometimes even sooner.

That's what I was going to say.  Almost all of our new cars were
purchased in the year before the model year when they first come out.
