The hood on my '91 Accord EX wouldn't close. It turned out to be that the hood latch cable was broken. I removed the cable and then put the hood down, (the hood that wouldn't close) it closed and latched. Now I can't get it open, what do I do -- majorwar > The hood on my '91 Accord EX wouldn't close. Now I > can't get it open, what do I do? Where did the cable break? If it broke at the lever, a pair of pliers may suffice to grab what's left. If it broke near the latch, then what jim said.
