my car feels like it is in nutral untill I give it a little bit of gas,
takes a second to start moving, then after thet if i go around 3o mph,
it feels like it jumps from nutral back to gear over and over again. My
check engine light is on and it reads bad speed sensor, does that have
anything to do with the way the tranny is shifting?

yes.  without it, the ecu doesn't know what to tell the transmission to do.

When was the last time the tranny fluid was changed?  And do you have
genuine Honda Z1 fluid in there?

Some 4th-gen Accords had issues with the tranny control unit (fried
capacitors I believe).  Not sure about 5th-gen Accords like yours.

Unless you have bad fluid that ruined the tranny, I doubt the entire
tranny needs to be replaced.
