replacing carb base gasket on `80 , 1.5

how much work is it to replace base gasket ? looks like it may be a big job
. has a hesitation , sprayed base w/starting fluid & idle went way up .

ive worked on a '77 accord before, and removing the carb from that era
honda only LOOKS like a big job. most important thing is to label all
hoses, and it seems like there are a thousand of em. digital pix might
help as well. nows a good time to get a few feet of spare vacuum hose
and replace any that are oil soaked/spongy, or brittle from heat.
