ok, i own a 1991 honda civic hatch dx with 105k. I heard a pop when i was
installing my remote starter and i have no instrement lights, head lighs(
low or high), and no tail lights. What can the problem be. I checked the
fuses and they look ok. My turn signals and hazzards do work though. Also
it feels when iI am driving that there is a lil bit of a misfire problem
and it does not have a pattern. What can I do for both problems?

OK well before you mess with electrical items in the car (a remote starter!)
you should disconnect the battery.
It sounds as though you have blown a bunch of fuses, or possibly blown a
fusible link. Check all fuses under the dash and under the hood. Pull them
out, and you should be able to see if its blown. If you are still having
problems, do a continuity test on the fuses one by one.

What's the maintenance history on this car? Especially when
were plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor last
replaced? And were OEM parts used for these?
When was ignition timing last checked?
How many mpg are you getting?
Ever put a bottle of the fuel injector etc. cleaner Chevron
Techron in a near-empty fuel tank and fill the tank?
