lately while braking, i am hear a screeching, grinding, noise like a
metal on metal noise coming from the tight front brake. i got new
brakes and rotors last year and i have driven 5000 miles since then. i
went to the quarter car wash and sprayed out all the crap. at first it
was good but then the noise started back up again. now just going over
bumps in the road i hear that screeching. i know if i take it to honda
and tell them that i hear a weird sound i will get charged for
everything. does anyone have a clue as to what is going on?

yes. you've not taken the wheel off to look for causes or to be able to
describe the situation properly. failure to complete this basic process
forces reliance on psychic diagnostics, which can prove much more
expensive than anything honda can dream up for such a simple job.

Where do you live?
Check
1) the splash shields behind the rotor for rust and coming loose
2) pads for being worn down
3) foreign object stuck somewhere.
If the pads are worn down after such a short mileage, somebody did a bad
brake job last time and a pad is seized (usually the inner one).
