on the plus side, it's a pretty color.
on the minus side, in no particular order:
1. ignition wires /way/ too long. the ignition control box is
inside, not outside in the engine compartment, and the ignition coil is
/way/ further away from the distributor than it needs to be. that's
signal noise city.
2. roll cage has no triangulation. there's not a whole lot of point
bothering if you don't use triangulation.
3. front shock tower bracing rod mounted too far from the suspension to
be properly effective.
4. rear shock bracing rod mounted on nice flexible stalky things - again
ruins the point of bothering with it in the first place.
5. radiator: the stock rad on the itr is huge. with a big-a** turbo on
it, are we expected to believe that weeny little thing can keep that
motor cool? don't think so.
6. some funky [boost?] meter obscures the fuel gauge!!! hello?
7. crank case vented to atmosphere - automatic smog failure in
california and citations every time you get stopped.
but this is the peach of the lot:
8. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f47/splitpeafu/IMG_5655.jpg
the caliper's mounted too far off disk so the swept area is only 60-70%
of what it should be!!! that absolutely blows my mind.
there's more, but my brain hurts already. moral of the story kids: if
you spent that same money going to school, you could learn how to build
a real race car, not this frankenstein barbie doll.

Some classics there. I like how he's replaced all the Acura badging
with Honda stuff - valve cover, front and rear emblems, etc. Those
emblems look like they're off a '78 Civic or something.
He's actually got different calipers front and rear - the front Wilwoods
look like they properly fit the rotors, but it seems he's put the same
smaller drilled rotors on the back while keeping the stock calipers.
Look at the nasty wear patterns on those puppies! Of course, knowing
that he spent $1700 on that mess makes it aaaall better...
And the red valve stems just really clash with the yellow theme :)
