Not sure how many years has Honda offered Navi in their Accord/Pilot.

Is there anyone ever got into problem while it is out of warranty?
I started to feel insecure about so many functions are built into that navi
unit.  What if it is broke few years later?
Yes, hopefully Honda will provide something equivalent for replacement at
"reasonable" price.

My 04 Sequoia does not have navi option and Toyota basically said "screx
you" by quoting $6500 as the cost to add a navi today.

Not equivalent--they'll offer a new unit.

You might ask what that costs today.

To give you an idea of what to expect, consider the 98-02 Accord EX auto
climate control unit.  When temperature knob stuck, they had to replace
the entire unit--because the temperature control wasn't available as a
separate part.

Cost:  $600.

(Do you know what "boat" actually means?  Some people would say it was
that thing that floats on the water; owners, however, will tell you it
means "break out another thousand".  See what owning goodies gets you?)
