Hi there.

The lock tab on my passenger side door is broken I believe, and I can
only lock that side from the outside with the key. Is there a way to
fix this problem without trying to find this separate part? I've found
the entire lock tab and handle set on ebay for $50 but thats for the
ONE side. I"m pretty sure its the tab and not the cables. Some feedback
would be appreciated!

Thanks

go to a junk yard.  there, you'll not only get the part much cheaper,
you'll get to practice disassembly without damaging anything /you/ own.

Is this part just called a lock tab or is there some other name for it?

Is this the little flap you flip in and out to un/lock the door?

You can simply JB-Weld and fiber glassed it. Same thing happend to our DX.
Worked ever since. It's just bad structural design.
