Hi there,

I want to run an auxiliary line into the CD changer port on the back of
the Honda tape deck.
There are companies that sell ready made products for $80-200, like

http://tinyurl.com/zys8b

but I am hoping to do it myself.

I have found a pin diagram for the plug

but I am not sure what lines need to be hot vs not in order to trick the
tape deck into thinking the CD changer is hooked up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

It will be cheaper if you buy a converter, it will tuned perfectly, etc
etc.

Otherwise you have to buy shielded cables, play a guessing game and
hopefully you wont smoke the factory radio.
