When my gas gets below half tank in my 1992 Honda Accord LX, i seem to
be loosing gas pressure (or so we're thinking).  The engine will appear
to not recieve gas when taking turns, accelerating quickly, or stopping
quickly.  The engine also idles between 400-700rpm (after we increased
the idle to 1100).

The car has 346,000 miles.  I know its a lot but overall its running
very well.  Repairs/replaces with anything that I believe may be
associated with this problem include new battery, plugs, wires,
distributor cap & rotar, fuel pump, and valve cover gasket.

We're beginning to run out of ideas aside from replacing the fuel
injectors, but a repair of that cost will be hard to come by due to the
downtime the car will be under.

Im open to every possible idea to fix this problem EXCEPT purchasing a
new car.  After I complete college I will be in a better position to
let this car pass on but that is not an option currently.

Congrats on having a HONDA!  A few thoughts come to mind. 346K - Great!

1. A fuel tank with a hole allowing air in (possibly by the fill tube)
2. A fuel pump on its last legs
3. A fuel filter possibly clogged/clogging.

I'm sure others will help you out also.

dan,
I believe that you are on the right track. All of the gas lines should be
checked and the fuel pressure should be checked. The OP should visit
