Hi, my cherished 1985 prelude SI is leaking radiator fluid from the
water pump feed pipe (or some related component).

HOW DO I GET AT IT? Can it be removed from the passenger side of the
engine compartment if I remove some of the components, or possibly from
the "back" (near the windshield) of the compartment if I remove the air
filter assembly off the fuel injection manifold, or do I have to remove
the intake manifold (which looks like a ghastly job)?

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

Appreciate any advice - thanks, Jon

I'm thinking more that you'd need to remove the thermostat housing or water
pump.

If it's leaking where the water pump and tube meet, there is an o-ring.
It would be easier to remove the water pump.  You have  to remove the
intake manifold to get to the tube.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm pretty sure it's leaking from that
connecting tube, or possibly one of the rubber hoses coming off of it.
Now that all the antifreeze is gone it leaks vapor and doesn't leave a
trail, will have to add more antifreeze in to try again to exactly find
the leak.

How big a job is removing/re-installing the intake manifold?
