89 Civic automatic with 220,000 miles on it.   I usually drive this
car before the
warmed engine. I don't like to sit there and wait for the engine to get
warm.
I don't mean I don't  idle at all. I do idle about 3 or 4  mins.
I have some noises issue under driving with not-warmed engine such
squeak  when I hit the break and  some kind of whistling or whirring
sound I don't know exactly where
it comes from, but  once the car reaches normal temp,  these noises
disappear.
Also the car seems to run a bit of overloaded on driving with
not-warmed engine . Once the engines gets norm temp,  the overloaded
feel gets disapper.

My guess on these noises.
Squeaking break  = Master Cylinder is not fully operated under
not-warmed engine
Whistle or Whirring = I don't no idea.

WAY too long. 30 seconds at most.

**BRAKE** squeak and other noises can be rust, dust, aftermarket pads, or
poor istallation.

Your car is OLD. Old cars develop lots of noises from pure age. All the
sound-deadening the factory installed is old and dried out, if it hasn't
fallen off entirely. Parts work loose, buzz, rattle, hum and squeak. Seats
come loose, gaskets loosen and harden.

Noise in a 17 year-old car is usually NORMAL. Exceptions are noises that
indicate mechanical problems, and those are best diagnosed by a competent
mechanic.

You mean it appears to have no power? Go easy on it until the temperature
gauge reaches full-hot: Accelerate gently, and keep the revs below 3,000.

You may just need a tune-up. At this age, neglect can cause all kinds of
problems.

Too much idling is wasting gas, right.

I think it's rust and dust. So much dirt and grease around the left
Break where
the squeak is coming from...

How about  5 seconds of big noise as soon as I start drive in the
morning?
The noise is definitely has to do with  Power Steering only during
turning wheel.
There is no noise if not  turn the wheel. I think the power steering
is not energized
fully under cold engine temp.

No not about power.  Yes that's what I thought.  I don't go higher
more than 2,500 when
the temp is not reach normal.

Loads the oil with fuel, too.

Grease around the BRAKE? (It's not spelt "break") Are you sure the CV joint
boot isn't split?

Power steering pumps get noisy with age. This may be normal too. So long as
it doesn't leak or squeal constantly, and the belt is properly tensioned,
forget about it.
