Thanks, I'll take a look at what those sites have. Honda's are
NORTORIOUS for failing
window regulators, so used is not an option. This will make the 4th
time that I've had to replace a regulator. The factory one(s) lasted
for 6 yrs, (both went out within a month of each other) so I replaced
both of them with OEM regulators and the drivers side only lasted for 4
yrs. So I replaced it last June with an aftermarket and it's already
failed. Good ole plastic parts. You would think that Honda would fix
the problem, but I guess they like making money selling parts. Isn't
that what American cars are made for? : )

how are they failing? stripped gears? is the motor burning out? maybe
some spray silicone lubricant in the window channels would help the
window go up and take some strain off the motors and gears?

It's where the cable ends fit into a piece of plastic that pulls the
window up and down.
Hard to explain unless you have seen one. Just a bad design.
That's OK, I'll take bad window regulators over engine or tranny
problems anyday!
