Damaged driver's side mirror?

Today I took my 2000 Accord through one of those automated car washes
that use hanging cloth straps. Unfortunately one of those straps
wrapped around the driver's side mirror and gave it a yank.

The mirror and the housing around it are now slightly crooked, as if
perhaps the hinge is broken or popped out of position. But they are
still attached to the bracket that holds them to the car, and the
electrical mirror control still works.

I'm not certain if something in the hinge mechanism is broken, or if
maybe it can just be snapped back into position.

Before I take it apart, does anyone know of any online diagrams of the
mirror assembly?

the mirror is considered a non-serviceable unit.  honda want you to
replace the whole shebang.
