Honda CR-V door problems

Is anyone else having problems with their Honda CR-V doors???

I have a 99 CR-V and the rear driver side door makes a sound like a
machine gun when I unlock it, and often the lock gets stuck in either
lock or unlock position.

A friend also owns the same model but a 2000, and they had the exact
same problem with their door.
