Just bought the above for my daughter picking it up later this week.
Any know issues with this model.
Does anyone know if power steering was standard or an option in the DX.
Car has 89,000 mi and need a new front bumper cover
PO replaced the timing chain already.
no timing chain on these suckers, its a belt. Standard interval for change
is 100000MI/7yrs (standard service) or 60000MI/5yrs (severe service). Severe
indicates weather below freezing for more than 3 months of the year or so,
and short trips. Previous Owner was probably overdue based on time,
depending on when the actual work was done.
Based on what I could find on the trim level you indicated (check
hondaautomotiveparts.com), this model does NOT come with Power Steering.

Thanks I knew it was a timing belt typo on my part.
Cannot believe Power Steering was an option in 94 though, live and
learn!

My '92 DX has power steering, and I think I remember from reading that
it was standard thereafter.

DX in USA? Look on SLHonda.com, '94 DX does not have any power steering
parts listed.
Trim levels are different depending on the market you are in. An LX in the
US for my 98 was the highest trim level (power windows, locks, etc) but in
Canada it was the bare bones model (what I got).
