Hi!
I just bought a '91 Honda Civic hatchback which was cared for very
well. All of a sudden the steering wheel began to shake like crazy! It
seems to happen most around 25- 45 mph. It doesn't happen when I break,
just while driving. It is slightly pulling to the right as well. Can
anyone tell me what this problem might be? I believe the struts and
shocks are newly replaced.
I am currently working in a casino far away from home. I bought this
vehicle to get back and forth from my home to the casino, but now I am
afraid to drive it and I do not know of any mechanics in the area that
are trustworthy!
Thanks so much!

1.  Wheel balance (a weight might have flown off)

2.  Tire inflation (too low and shimmy can occur)

3.  Bent wheel or out of round tire.

4.  bad tie rod(s) (not likely)

My crystal ball's timing belt broke. I neglected to change it every
60,000 prognostications. :(

I gotta get me a new crystal ball..
Mine stopped working after Y2K - it must have not been compliant.
Right now, I can see what the weather was like in 1906, which doesn't
do me any good.

To give you a REAl answer....

Check the upper ball joints. They typically go bad on these Hondas, and
isnt always noticed.
