Midas quoted me about $1,200 to replace dual mufflers & exhaust pipe on
my 1998 Honda Accord. There is definitely a loud rumbling noise however
the quote seems pricey. Any feedback/comments is appreciated.

Why don't you ask your local Honda dealer what it might cost?
You might be very pleasantly surprised, especially once you see the quality
(and warranty) on OEM exhaust systems.
Sounds like Midas wants to replace the cat as well, at that price.

Stay away from Midas, unless you plan on going back to them in a few
years. They use the cheapest parts which rot out a lot quicker than
Honda OEM parts. Plus you get a lifetime warranty with labor if you
get it done by the dealer.
Good Luck

The 18220-S84-A01 pipe leading from the cat costs $171.71 (Honda Parts
Store.com) and each muffler 18030-S84-A11 costs 160.25. Do you have
rust-through in the mufflers and pipe? Or maybe just a gasket leak
somewhere?
If you only need the two mufflers it's probably not worth $1200 because
they're easy to change.
Get a quote from a Honda dealer or two if you have them nearby.
