I'm about to install a new power window regulating assembly on my '97
accord.  Should the edges of the window or the sash guide be
lubricated?  Some paste wax maybe?  something with silicone?  any
suggestions or leave it clean and dry.

I've been using a silicone spray in the guides for years. Haven't had a
power window fail yet. Oldest car I have with power windows is 17 years
old.
