We bought a new Honda Accord 06 this July and it has only about 1k
mileage on it. Recently the engine light often lights up and the car
kind of "stutters" or hesitates when we try to speed it up while going
uphill. We checked the motor oil and it's more than half full. We took
it to the car dealers and then the light is off and they couldn't find
anything wrong with it.

If the "check engine" light goes on, the computer should be storing
fault codes.
You need to find another dealer, and/or be more aggressive about the
dealer fixing this.
This isn't necessarily a transmission problem.

Does the engine light blink? The 06 Accord Hybrid cars got a software
update so that a blinking engine light no longer stores error codes.
Nice going, Honda. My engine didn't get fixed until I was in the
process of lemon-lawing it. My car hesitates and stutters too when
moving the gas pedal, like it's confused and doesn't know what gear to
be in. I'm told this is normal. I'm selling my car soon.
