Hi, I have a 8 way power seat which has been a problem since about
50,000 KMS. When I take a corner, more so on a left turn, I hear a loud
cracking sound coming from the left side of the seat.  I initially took
it back to the dealer, who replaced the seat tracks, which rectified
the problem. However, the problem quickly reappeared again and the
dealer was not able to fix it. I had the technical update done on the
seat linkages but this also did not correct the problem. Does anyone
know what this problem is and what can be done about it. It is very
irritating problem on a car that has been very good.

Regards

I have the same problem on my 2001 Accord EX-V6.  82Kmiles on it now.
I took it to the dealer shortly after I bought the car and they told me
this was normal.  It still feels disconcerting to feel the seat shift
when taking turns hard.  Other than numerous squeaks/rattles and a few
extended warranty cards, the cars has run great.
