My neighbor has a 2006 Ridgeline and the nav has never really worked
right. Dealer is stumped. Nav system and antenna have been replaced
more than once, no joy. They have had it in several times. The problem
is the GPS mislocates the car by hundreds of feet to hundreds miles
sometimes. The reliabilty is so bad you can't really trust the system
at all. Any short drive will show a failure.

Any ideas?

Are they using the same Nav DVD?  Maybe the DVD has a defect or bad code
that is affecting the Nav unit.

We have a 2005 accord hybrid with nav and it works great.  If they have
replaced everything else then they should replace the cd and if that doesn't
work he should be able to lemon law it and get a new car.  I bet they figure
out whats wrong once he starts arbitration.  There is state by state
instructions regarding lemon laws and arbitration in one of the owners
manuals that comes with the car.  The dealer is being lazy.
