I want to get some shocks for a 91 Civic. This car is stock and will
never see track time; it is the quintessential daily driver.  The only
time it sees hard work is that it has to drive a dirt road where I have
gone airborne before with my first car. So, no lowering for it.  Based
on that, which would be the best shocks for the beast:

KYB GR2
Tokico HP
Bilstein Touring

kyb.  great quality, great price, comfy but not sloppy, a good all-round
shock.

I second Jim's comments. Hard to go wrong with KYB for commuting.
I had Tokico's in my Integra. I liked them but none of my passengers
did.
YMMV

Bueno, the OEM shocks lasted a long time.  Why not price exact replacements,
just for a laugh?

Saludos,
