Hey folks,  got a weird issue that I'm not sure about.

2003 accord 4 cyl - auto

ever since I had my air filter replaced at one of those quick lube
places my car makes an extra humming noise.
its a vacuum sounding hum.  Tracing it down more I know the sound is
coming from the air filter housing.

I opened the box while the engine was running, and the humming grew
noticeably louder.

nothing seems to be affected,  gas millage is the same as before,
power seems the same,  the only issue is this strange noise.

any ideas?

yes, they left something disconnected.  you've probably lost bits of it
by now and you're sucking dirt into your nice expensive engine.

figure out what's missing, photograph the evidence, then ride the a.s
off corporate until the local morons call you begging to pay you to get
it fixed and go away.

As a corollary to this, I would NEVER let a quick-lube place touch my car.
I go to either the dealership or to an independent Honda service center. For
tires and maybe a new battery, I'll take it to a tire/automotive shop.
